Lloyd Gaskill coached Limon High School to numerous state football titles and compiled an overall record of 236-58-8 in a 29-year career.
In the 1960’s, Gaskill coached the team to forty-three straight wins, the longest streak in Colorado history.
He was inducted into the National Football Coaching Hall of Fame in 1976 and the Colorado High School Athletic Association Hall of Fame in 1990.
