Nomination/Selection Process
Fill out the form and include any letters of recommendation/support, articles, biographies and/or photos and return it to the Hall of Fame. You can mail it to CSHOF Selection Committee, 1701 Bryant Street, Ste 500, Denver, CO 80204 or drop it off during business hours at the Hall of Fame Museum or at the Empower Field at Mile High Stadium Management office. You are also welcome to send it electronically to kate@coloradosports.org. Once the Hall of Fame receives the file, it is forwarded it on to the selection committee, made up of approximately 29 sports and media representatives from around the state. All nominations are kept on file from year to year. We have nearly 250 nominees on file, and we choose 4-6 inductees each year.
Nominations are accepted from the public throughout the year. The deadline for submitting a nomination form is August 31 for the following year. The voting meeting of the Selection Committee is held each October followed by an Induction Banquet in April.
Inductees to the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame are chosen by an independent Selection Committee composed of media representatives from throughout the State of Colorado.
