For 37 years, the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame was no more than a board of directors operating out of the Denver Chamber of Commerce. Banquet and Selection Committees focused solely on honoring inductees each year at an annual awards dinner.
The signature event of the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame, the Induction and Awards Banquet is held every spring and brings together around 800 people to celebrate the accomplishments of Colorado Athletes.
For the past couple years, The Colorado Sports Hall of Fame has presented a first-class golf tournament. The Golf Classic is hosted in September at the world famous Broadmoor Hotel and Golf Club in Colorado Springs.
A collaboration between the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame, Colorado High School Activities Association and INVESCO Field at Mile High. The December 4A and 5A high school championship football games held at INVESCO Field at Mile High.

2013 Colorado Sports Hall of Fame Induction Banquet

The 2013 Hall of Fame Induction Banquet will be held on
Thursday April 18, 2013 at the Marriott Denver City Center.

Steve Atwater - Broncos 1989 first-round draft pick, appearing in 8 Pro Bowls during his 11 year career..
Don Baylor - The first manager of the 1992 MLB expansion Rockies, he led the Rockies in 1995 to their NL Wild Card postseason berth.
Don Cockroft - HS standout at Fountain in the early 1960's, Cockroft went on to a successful NFL career.
Adam Foote - The physical and gritty defenseman for the Colorado Avalanche finished his career with 1,154 games, 66 goals and 242 assists.
Steve Jones -University of Colorado athlete, successful PGA career including 8 PGA wins.
Stan Williams - East High School athlete, signed with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1954 out of HS. Pitched in two World Series games.
